Thelen Lab

Terms of service

Last updated 14 September 2026.

Thelen Lab is a private home lab. It offers no service to the public, accepts no registrations, and charges nobody anything. These terms exist because the software the lab runs asks for a terms URL — not because there is a bargain being struck with anyone.

Who may use it

The operator of the lab, and people the operator has explicitly invited onto the home network. Access is granted person by person and can be withdrawn at any time, without notice and without reason.

Attempting to reach the lab's systems without that invitation is not permitted.

No warranty

Everything the lab runs is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. It is a hobby system assembled by one person. It goes down for maintenance, for power cuts, and for mistakes. Nobody is on call.

No liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, anything the lab runs — including loss of data. Keep your own copies of anything you care about.

Your content

Content an invited person stores in the lab remains theirs. The operator makes no claim to it, and will delete it on request.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page moves when they do.
